Frisco, Texas, Jan 16, 2022: The Cottages is excited to inform family, friends and our loved ones living with memory disorders about an inspiring event at Walk to End Alzheimer’s! In over six hundred communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer’s holds these outstanding events. As the world’s largest and leading fundraiser for Alzheimer’s support, care, and research, it offers incredible opportunities to combat Alzheimer’s.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s closely monitors Centers for Disease Control, local and state guidelines to ensure that Walk events adhere strictly to the recommendation and are safe for everyone. Prefer to Walk From Home? Via the application, you can engage in several Walk-day experiences. While participants wouldn’t be required to pay to register for a Walk, participants are encouraged to raise crucial funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to offer 24/7 care and support, modern research to the treatment, method of prevention, and ultimately, a lasting cure. Here are three vital steps to participate:

  • Registration- Find a walk near you to register for your local walk. Then sign up as a team member or as an individual.
  • Start Fundraising & Spread The Word- Walk to End Alzheimer’s will offer tips and coaching during the whole process. This includes stress-free ways to raise funds online.
  • Join to End Alzheimer’s On The Walk Day- They're safely hosting in-person events this fall, but will also offer options to Walk From Home.
