The FDIC deposit insurance increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor. Tradition Bank also is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program (TAGP) – under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts (interest rates no higher than .25%) are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the accounts. Coverage under the TAGP is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.

Expedited Funds Availability Act Regulatory Change

Effective February 27, 2010, if we delay the availability of deposited funds beyond the 1st business day the funds will generally be available on the 2nd business day.
