The Dallas area Train Show is held at the Plano Convention Center. This time it will be the January 14-15th, 2006. Hours 10am-5pm Saturday, 10am-4pm Sunday. 2000 East Spring Creek Parkway. Go East from Central Expressway (Exit 31).

Admission $7.00 per person Children under 12 are FREE.

Modifying the F-86D day fighter into an all-weather interceptor brought several noticeable changes to the standard F-86 airframe. Among them was the deletion of machine guns in favor of arming the aircraft with 24 2.75mm 'Mighty Mouse' folding fin rockets. Features: Recessed panel lines, underwing stores for bombs and rockets, multi-piece towing tractor and silkscreen decals.

The F-15 entered service as an air superiority fighter, but the latest version, the F-15E is optimized for deep interdiction as an all-weather fighter-bomber. Model Aircraft Laboratories was established in 1945 by Edgar Seay Sr. and his wife Mildred. The retail hobby shop was actually opened in 1948. Edgar Sr. has been building models professionally for the aviation industry since 1927 - "from Jennies to Jets." His son, Edgar Seay Jr. established MAL in the mail-order business over twenty five years ago, specializing in books and materials on aviation, military history, and modeling.
What was a family business of 3 people is now down to 2, as mom died in 1994, and Sr is producing a line of balsa rubber powered kits and therefore does not spend as much time in the store.So the store is run by Jr with some part time help.
