Podiatric Services For:

Medical Licensing. Dr. Bluhm is a licensed member and in good standing of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
Service for Children and Adults. Some adult foot problems can be prevented early in life. One trait inherited from our parents is foot type. Early foot care helps maintain a firm foundation for proper child growth and development. Many foot ailments may be treated conservatively.
Surgery of the Foot. When conservative care is unable to remedy a foot problem, surgery is a favorable option. Dr. Bluhm has been trained in an accredited surgical residency in reconstruction of the foot and treatment of : bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, neuromas, fractures, wart removal, rheumatoid forefoot reconstruction, tarsal tunnel pain, decompression of the plantar fascia or nerves, exostosis, joint implants, removal of soft tissue lesions, endoscopic, minimally invasive or open correction of plantar fasciitis, wound care and skin grafts, and ingrown toe nail treatment.
Biomechanics and Orthotics. Dr. Bluhm had six years of biomechanics as a student and resident. He has excellent training in gait analysis and the construction of custom-made orthotics and braces. Pre-fabricated functional orthotics or custom-made orthotics are dispensed depending on the diagnosis. Insurance coverage of custom-made functional orthotics depends on diagnosis and currently treated conditions.
Payment of Provided Services. We are providers for the majority of insurance companies, allow patient self-claim, or out-of-pocket pay so treatment is always affordable!
