Welcome to Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery. We are a full service equine hospital located just west of Fort Worth in Weatherford, Texas off of Interstate 20. The foundation of our practice is our team of racetrack veterinarians and support staff. ESMS employs 9 veterinarians servicing race tracks across the country. Our facility in Weatherford includes a state-of-the-art, 24 hour critical care and neonatal facility. This unit is staffed 24 hours by highly trained veterinarians and technicians. Our extensive services also include surgery, advanced lameness, chiropractics and acupuncture, dentistry and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We also have a team dedicated to farm calls. Regenerative medicine is a growing part our practice. Our veterinarians are on the cutting edge of equine medicine and continually explore new therapies and medicine. ESMS has taken our standard of care a step further and we now have our own fully staffed diagnostic lab complete with top-of-the-line equipment.
