It takes 5 readings per sec to ensure that any lowering of SpO2 level is being recorded. In contrast, other spot check pulse oximeter only takes 1 reading per second and shows you only the maximum value of 4-6 readings.

The Bluetooth function frees up the only USB port on the wrist watch and allows you to record your SpO2 and pulse rate in real time.
