Welcome to the oral and maxillofacial surgery practice of Doctors John Stella, Michael Warner, Herman Kao and Fayette Williams with offices in Arlington, Fort Worth and Weatherford, Texas. The specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery covers the diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries and defects of the mouth and facial region. Both functional and cosmetic aspects are treated.
Wisdom teeth removal is the procedure most often associated with oral and maxillofacial surgery, but our specialty includes much more. We provide correction of cleft-lip and palette for newborns. Genetic defects such as ears that protrude (ear surgery) or an imbalance in facial features (orthognathic surgery) can be corrected by our team. Many dentists refer their patients to us for conditions such as TMJ surgery, or surgeries to lengthen or shorten the upper or lower jaw (orthognathic surgery). More than 20 years ago we pioneered dental implant services to the citizens of Fort Worth, Arlington, Granbury, and Weatherford. We are specialists in the detection and treatment of oral, neck, head and facial cancer. Many patients are referred to us by their primary care physician to treat snoring and sleep apnea. Cosmetic services offered by our practice include Botox and wrinkle removal; a beauty treatment we call the Liquid Face Lift. Sometimes this includes a chemical peel to rejuvenate the skin.
