Soon the need for 2 kind of Phonebooks became evident:
one "classified by Name" generally called "White Pages"

According to legend the word came about due to a coincidence - a Directory Printer
running out of white paper where opon he finished the prints with the "yellow" paper he had in stock.

Little by little and about half a Century later
