I AM TRUSTING THEE, LORD JESUS
I am trusting Thee, Lord Jesus, trusting only Thee,
Trusting Thee for full salvation, great and free.
I am trusting Thee for pardon; at Thy feet I bow,
For Thy grace and tender mery, trusting now.
I am trusting Thee to guide me: Thou alone shall lead,
Every day and hour supplying all my need.
I am trusting Thee, Lord Jesus, never let me fall.
I am trusting Thee forever, and for all.
What does it mean to trust? Whom or what can you trust these days? Think about these things. The word "trust" really means complete reliance on someone or something at all times, in all circumstances, doesn't it? Someone once made the observation that only two things in this world are sure, i.e., can be trusted: death and taxes. For this postmodern sinful world in which we live, that's probably close to the truth. Everything else is problematical. But wait - there's more!
The words of this hymn refer to the One in whom you can place your complete and utter trust at all times, in all circumstances. Jesus Christ, Son of God, Lord and Savior, exists in the here and now to forgive, save, guide and protect you. He loves you with all His almighty power. You can trust that to be true! You can trust Him!
We invite you to put your trust in Him and join us at Bethel Lutheran Church as we forgiven sinners hear the Word of our loving God, receive His grace, and worship Him in return. We cordially welcome you!

Sunday Morning Schedule
