I’ve spent the last 35 years of my life working to make other lives better. I’ve helped international superstar professional athletes get back to the top of their game, and I’ve helped recreational athletes be able to keep playing the sports they love. I’ve helped toddlers with troubles learning to walk. I’ve helped grandmothers and grandfathers keep living active lives for many more years. I’m proud to have helped many of our U.S. soldiers return to full duty. And I want to help you, too.

This website and my Sports Medicine website are for you. I hope they will let you get to know me better so you can make the best decision about your healthcare. Insurance plans and cash pay discounts
Call the number on your insurance card to see if we are on your insurance plan, or you can look at the bottom of our Patient Information page for a list of the more common insurance plans we participate in. This is not a complete list however. If we are not on your insurance plan, or if you do not have insurance, you may call our office for additional information about our discounted fees, which are payable at the time of service. We can give only you an estimated range of what your costs would be over the phone. Once your precise orthopedic treatment needs have been determined following your initial examination, we then can give you better price information for further treatment. Unfortunately, we cannot post our fees online because that would be a violation of Federal Anti-Trust Laws. We really wish we could because we believe we have very good cash prices. (NOTE: The insurance industry and professional baseball are both exempt from all Federal Anti-Trust Laws, but your doctors are not. So why does the insurance industry get special treatment? Ask your Congressional Representatives!)

What you may not know about Dr. Parr's primary hospital, Foundation Surgical Hospital (FSH):
While Dr. Parr has privileges at a number of SW Houston and Sugar Land area hospitals and he does do surgery at all of these, his primary hospital is Foundation Surgical Hospital, located near the Galleria on the 610 Loop, immediately south of the Westpark Tollway and Southwest Freeway (Hwy 59S). Our patients always have the right to select where they want to have their surgeries and imaging studies. Dr. Parr's surgery days are scheduled in advance at Foundation Surgical Hospital, Doctors' Surgical Center, and the Shriners' Hospital for Children. Surgery at other facilities is arranged on a patient by patient basis.
