Water's Edge is a Christian Church striving for an atmosphere that is genuine, inspiring, and empowering. You will find our growing faith family to be made up of real people, processing the struggles and victories of life through the filter of Jesus' love and forgiveness. The wisdom and insight of God's Word takes center stage at Water's Edge, and is communicated in a manner that is understandable and engaging. Since God makes it clear that He intends His Word to be understood and encountered by all, we strive for just that.
Churches sometimes put off the vibe that you have to be living the right life or have all the right answers before you enter their doors. Jesus would laugh at that expectation. Our Savior is the very one who said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."
The Pastors and leaders of Water's Edge certainly try to model a good life, but they're also extremely honest about their real and ongoing struggles with sin. When a church can come to grips with the fact that it constantly needs to keep the focus on the Savior Jesus, because it is and will always be made up of sinful people, then the transforming power of God's forgiveness rules the day. We believe that God has made Water's Edge a place where lives are refreshed and rejuvenated by the truth of God in Jesus Christ. We also believe that God has made us a community in which no one is condemned for their lack of Biblical knowledge or the infancy of their newly received or recommitted faith. So in other words, we're a safe place for your ongoing and maturing journey of Christian faith.
