Each flat has been carefully designed with your utmost comfort and pleasure in mind. Working with renowned interior designer, Martha Grife of San Miguel de Allende, we've created a harmonious blend of colorful Pacific and colonial Mexico architecture

Gorgeous stained concrete floors, imported leather Icapalli furniture, hand-painted Talavera tile and folkart set a new standard for Port Aransas accommodations.
You will love our roomy bathrooms with imported Talavera tile showers and colorful hand-painted sinks.
Fully-equipped kitchens with a bar area are ideal for cooking your catch of the day or for extended stays. Feel free to spice things up with herbs from our organic garden. And since our all of our flats are one story, no hauling groceries up the stairs or waiting for an elevator! The living/dining area is perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal. For many years, the Balinese Flats, formerly known as the old "Dolphin Lodge" to locals, sat in disrepair and neglect. Built in the 50's, most of the charm of "Old Port Aransas" had faded away.
Seeing potential among ruin, we embarked on a quest to bring this unique building back to life. We gutted the entire building down to four walls and a concrete slab and began from there. The result is a harmonious space that resurrects an existing landmark and provides guests with a unique and relaxing vacation experience on the Texas Gulf Coast.
