Joe A. Montoya established The TV Shop in 1976; Joe is a native of San Antonio and graduate of Burbank High School and San Antonio College. He is an active member of the community serving on the board of the Westside - San Antonio YMCA, as well as the Lighthouse Charter School.

The TV Shop employs factory trained technicians and is an active member of the National Electronics Service Dealers Association (NESDA), the Texas Electronics Association (TEA) of which Joe is currently serving as Secretary/Treasurer, the Better Business Bureau, as well as the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Joe G. Montoya IV was raised around the family business; Joeor "Joey" as he is affectionately known is a graduate of William Howard Taft High School. Joeytook over as General Manager after completing coursework towards his BBA in Marketing at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2000. Joey is also an active member of NESDA and the TEA and was the driving force behind The TV Shop becoming a proud sponsor for the annual Greg Simmons Golf Classic which benefits The Society of St. Vincent DePaul.
