Holiday Card Sale
The annual Holiday Card sale is on now through December 13. Orders may be placed online at amazon.com or by coming by the school and purchasing from the front desk. The front desk has more variety of cards. Card artwork is done by Sunshine Cottage children. All proceeds benefit school programs. Cost is $10 for a pack of 20 cards with envelopes. Everywhere you hear the sounds of children calling out answers to lessons, or the laughter of a group bouncing down the hall for a nature hike in the back 20. The atmosphere around you is warm and inviting, and the air of excitement convinces you this is a special day. But every day is a special day in a school that abounds with sounds and words, heard and spoken by children with varying degrees of deafness.
