Attorneys Sheldon Goldstein and Michelle Scopellite formed Goldstein & Scopellite, PC in 2002. The attorneys set out with a mutual goal to help their clients achieve their aims by taking the time to explain the legal issues that confront them and to help them prevail - either through negotiation or litigation.
They have an excellent track record for success and pride themselves on focusing on the underlying legal issues that present themselves in each case. This technique helps them to solve their clients' legal dilemmas in a more expedited manner than the more normal litigation cycle. To assist them in the development of their firm, the attorneys invited attorney Joel Mitchell to become "of counsel" and provide advice and guidance. Mr. Mitchell has been licensed to practice law for more than 30 years and has, during that time, been Board Certified in five areas of the law. Joel Mitchell brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience of the law to the firm that contributes to the firm's successful track record.
In October 2005 they added attorney Teresa G. Sanchez. Ms. Sanchez began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas County, Texas. From there she moved into private practice specializing in family law in and outside Collin County and the Dallas metroplex. Teresa G. Sanchez's criminal defense and family law experience, primarily in Collin County, helps to build the firm's goal in offering quality legal services to its clients.
