Chronic pain is a massive disease burden affecting an estimated 20% of middle aged adults and 50% of the elderly population. 86 million people suffer from chronic pain, and 66 million people are permanently disabled from back pain. There are 65 million new cases of permanent disability diagnosed each year due to pain.
Unrelieved pain can produce many medical problems including, weight loss or gain, anorexia, heart attack, angina, infections, high blood pressure, immobility, weakness, fatigue, depression, increased risk of cancer and decreased cancer survival rates. Chronic pain can also cause fear, anger, anxiety, sleep disturbances, irritability, hopelessness, and frustration.

There are several treatment options for chronic pain which include interventional approaches such as nerve blocks and surgery, rehabilitation such as physical therapy, exercise, psychological approaches, and pharmacological therapies.

Our goal at Spinal Diagnostics is to get you as close to normal as possible so you can resume recreational activities and increase your quality of life.
