Dr. Amanda Ryals and her team at 287 Animal Hospital would like to welcome you to our website. We are committed to bringing you and your pet better health by practicing high quality medicine and surgery. Our hospital is located in the beautiful, fast growing city of Mansfield, Texas. We are a one doctor practice and exclusively a small animal (dogs and cats) hospital. Our hospital was established and opened in August of 2003.
Dr. Ryals is a native of Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She has been in private practice around the Metroplex since 1989. Her areas of special interest include small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Ryals has been married to her husband since 1990 and has two beautiful children. Her pets "Jake" a seven year old Golden Retriever and "Jazzmen" a two year old Australian Shepherd love to visit the hospital. We also have our awesome clinic cat "Simon", and we are almost certain he is part Maine Coon.
Our mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for our patients, informative, and supportive service for our clients, while maintaining a superior working environment for our employees.
287 Animal Hospital offers the Mansfield animal community services such as medical, surgical, dental, grooming, and boarding. We also have an in-house pharmacy, lab, and radiology facilities. We are open for appointments during normal business hours M-F 7:30-6 and SAT 8-1. Thank you for visiting our website and feel free to contact us at 817-453-8884.
Due to growing concern and recent availability of the vaccine, we are now vaccinating for the Canine Influenza Virus (CIV). We will be requiring it for all dogs staying in the hospital for surgery, boarding, grooming, drop-offs, etc starting September 21, 2009.
Please ask us for further details. Thank you.
