GSC's 25th Anniversary

Jean and I are excited to begin our 25th year as owners and managers of Gymnastics Sport Center. It seems like just yesterday that we opened the doors for the first time! Many of you who are former students are now bringing your children to classes with us!
We look forward to another year of precious toddlers just getting started in physical fitness, school-age children learning how much fun gymnastics can be, team members learning more new skills every week and all gaining self-esteem and confidence to help them throughout life.
Our staff this year is outstanding and we are all anxious to do our very best to teach and inspire your athlete to reach their goals.

The Gymnastics Sport Center of Abilene has been dedicated to serving the youth of Abilene since 1986. With a background of teaching and coaching all sports since 1975, Jack Smith, owner and manager, provides leadership and direction to a successful program of beginner and advanced gymnastics and cheerleading classes and teams. Boys and girls gymnastics teams from the Gymnastics Sport Center are annual favorites in state competition with numerous individual awards each season. HEAT competitive cheer teams are consistently in the top of their divisions winning trips to national championships yearly.

All-Star Cheerleading is a unique and exciting sport! Through this sport, children improve more than just the skills we associate with cheerleading. Children will gain self-confidence, determination, sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication. These qualities will serve them well throughout their lives.

Brandon Cooke & Kelsey Farrington will be heading up the HEAT squads this season. As you may know, they are top-notch coaches! Brandon was a varsity gymnast at Abilene High School for 4 years and a cheerleader at Hardin-Simmons University for 4 years. Kelsey has been a HSU varsity cheerleader for 2 years.
