The mission of Cypress Creek Montessori School is to motivate each child to become an independent, life-long learner. Each child is motivated to learn by independently choosing the work he/she is interested in with guidance from our caring teachers. Through this method, the child develops an appreciation for learning and a positive self-esteem.
Our school is based on Maria Montessori's philosophy and is designed to help the child to be self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to progress at his/her own pace. In this way, the child develops a sense of responsibility for one's self, a positive self-esteem, and an appreciation for learning. All academic areas of focus have a natural progression of advancement and include the areas of practical life, sensorial, language, math, science, and geography. All lessons have an indirect aim of focus and concentration - which is most important for later life.
