KISS Janitorial is a city/state certified WBE/HUB green cleaning certified company. We are a proud members of the USGBC, USGBC Central Texas Balcones Chapter ,International Facility Managers Association, Building Office Management Association, Building Services Contractors Association, the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce, Round Rock Chamber of Commerce and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. The USGBC has no certification at this time on green cleaning. When they do, we will seek their certification. At the present time, we have an individual that is seeking the APPA Educational Facilities Professional Credential (EFP) and the Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP). Both programs establishes a standard for professional practice in the field of education facilities management.

If you are concerned about the environment and the health of your employees or tenants as well as your facility, KISS Janitorial has a Green Care Now Program that is unique in the industry that uses “Green Seal” certified cleaning products. Our customized Green Care Now Program is driven by a complete software solution named CompuClean. CompuClean plays a key roll in implementing and maintaining a Green Cleaning program. CompuClean is also the perfect tool for implementing ISSA’s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS). Proper training, resource management and process documentation are all components of Green cleaning and the certification process. CompuClean provides the tools to do all of this in one program. CompuClean’s workloading, QUALITY ASSURANCE, inventory and equipment management systems are all compliant with the requirements of the CIMS standard. We take a broader approach to cleaning green than anyone one in the industry and include things like, recycling programs, microfiber technology, HEPA filtered vacuums, and touchless water, soap and paper conservation technologies. For our customers working toward LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, your Green Care Now Program that is provided by KISS Janitorial will include the use of the green cleaning products and procedures, the appropriate reports required to earn points toward certification. Unlike most companies, we have an ISSA Green Cleaning Professional on staff that will perform your green cleaning audit at no charge as long as you are a current customer. Green cleaning is the use of those products and services that have a lesser or reduced impact on human health and the environment when compared with competing products or services that serve the same purpose. This definition comes from terms laid out by Presidential Executive Order No. 13514. Note that this definition of green cleaning is comparative in nature. In other words, it does not set an absolute or final endpoint of what is environmentally preferable may be. Instead, it makes a comparison to competing products and services and thereby encourages continual improvement along the green spectrum. Green cleaning is especially important in regards to vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, and those with suppressed immune systems.
