This Sunday.When Was the Last Time You Told a Lie?

Time magazine had a cover story article entitled, Lying. Everyone is doing it honest!
When was the last time you told a lie? Last week? Yesterday? Today?
Dr. Leonard Keeler, the inventor of the lie detector machine, has tested 25,000 individuals, and he has come to the conclusion that all human beings are basically deceptive! Sociologists tell us that the average American hears about 200 lies a day.
This tendency we all have on fudging prompted Jesus to address truth telling. This Sunday, November 21st, well hear what Jesus had to say about this important subject.
Raising the Bar is a sermon series examining the six eye-opening statements Jesus made in his famous Sermon on the Mount concerning everything from anger and lust to divorce and forgiveness. With each statement, he raises the bar by getting beyond external regulations and turning to the internal realities of how God wants us to live out our lives. We invite you to join us as Jesus raises the bar for all of us!
We meet every Sunday at 10:30am at Dr. John's Sport Center (view map) with our middle and high school students going to The Big Bounce!
