Our faith is encouraged where the Spirit, the Word, and the people of God serve as one.
Thanks for checking us out. I want to invite you to be a guest at ourworship service. Sunday morning, we hold a "three--stream" Encourager service, where we celebrate with blended worship, open ourselves to the Holy Spirit in prayer, and observe the Holy Eucharist.
Consider us as an intimate fellowship of believers who are passionate about our missional purpose. Worshipping and serving together, we can participate in God's transforming work here in North Austin and Round Rock.

Hungry Families Get Help at The Storehouse
Pray. Provide. Proclaim.
Leading up to Christmas, we will focus on the needs of others by helping The Storehouse Ministry, a food bank and thrift store supporting the working poor. We will be collecting food in our (or your) neighborhoods, and sending it to The Storehouse to help provide a Christmas feast for all of their families.
December 1: Come to church to prepare bags to be left on doorknobs in our neighborhood, and to get a little training on what to do
December 8: Walk our neighborhoods to hand out collection bags
December 15: Walk the neighborhoods and pick up grocery donations
December 22: Day of Prayer for Others
We have appointed a Vision Team to help identify our mission in God's Kingdom; to clarify who we are and what our needs our as a congregation; and to set some goals for the coming years. This Fall they begin a discovery process designed to help meet these objectives.
The members of the team are: Dick Chote, Carol Compton, David Durham, Risk Fisher, Simon Guevara, Jamie Klemcke, Mike Kling, Judy Manyo-Plange, Sam Myers and Ed Reid.
They are working with a group called Auxano which helps churches develop a visions, focus ministry, navigate chunge, and inspire involvement.
To find out more about this process, read their book Church Unique or go to their Auxano website.
Vision and Mission of Our Church
Work has prayerfully begun toward rediscovering ourselves as a mission-focused church and identifying our vision. I am proposing that we focus our energies on these three
initiatives over the next six months:
1. Identify and remove obstacles to growth; continue to develop our Sunday service, explore new names for our church and develop a communication strategy.
Update: A Vision Team has been appointed and will begin a discovery process this Fall.
2. Launch and support of Small Groups Ministry; Includes the creation and support of Bible Studies, Discipleship and Mission-focused groups.
Update: Ten Elements groups start in September, we hope you are part of one.
3. Youth Group; We need to identify the next season of leadership and continuing to establish mission and vision. Update: The Youth Group has been reorganized, meeting in small groups, and new teachers have stepped forward. We continue to search for a program coordinator.
