Hello everyone! We are full for Thanksgiving at this point, and we weve already started making confirmation calls. So if you would like a reservation, please call ASAP to get on our waiting list. Some spots may become available as we continue our confirmation calls. If you have a reservation and know you wont be using it, we would greatly appreciate you letting us know. If you cant remember if you have a reservation, please feel free to call or email and check with us.

We will be taking a $50 deposit by phone when we call to confirm. We also just started our wait list for Christmas so please check with us ASAP if you think you need a spot for Christmas. We will do Christmas holiday confirmation calls in early to mid December.

Teresa Pitts is available during the week to do haircuts, shaves, trims and scissor work.She has an impressive 30 year history grooming, showing and working with dogs. She is knowledgeable on breed specific cuts and considerations and is available for a free consultation before any appointment. In addition, she offers competitive pricing (and is usually cheaper than Petsmart!) We are offering a 10% discount to all first-time grooming customers until November 12. What is Canine Influenza? Canine Influenza is a relatively new virus and is different from Bordetella (Kennel Cough). More detailed information about the virus can be found at http://www.doginfluenza.com/owners/ . It is not a major threat in our area at this point. However, some local vets recommend the vaccine as a precaution in anticipation that it may one day reach the Austin area. Dr. Gregory Biehle from Brykerwood Vet Clinic is one that recommends it but quickly notes the prevalence is low in our area. While it is not a major threat at this point, it is one extra step you can take to protect your pet. Bed and Biscuit is not currently requiring this vaccine for boarding dogs but may in the future if the risk for our area increases. In fact, many vets will tell you that the threat is so low that they dont even carry the vaccine at this point. This information is not intended to cause panic. We just want our clients to be informed that this new virus exists and encourage you to speak to a vet you trust about it to determine what is best for your pet. Effective November 5, Bed and Biscuit will require that each customer sign a new Boarding Agreement before boarding their pets or leaving them for daycare. The agreement allows for Bed and Biscuit to treat your pet in case of an emergency and helps ensure that all our boarders and daycare visitors are vaccinated properly.
