We are a small animal clinic, treating both dogs and cats. Lockhart Animal Clinic has been performing small animal medicine and surgery for one and half centuries (in dog years!), since 1984. Our friendly, hometown staff includes human as well as feline and canine "employees". For example, "Frankenberry", our official feline greeter, stays stationed on a shelf just inside the front door just waiting to massage your shoulders and rearrange your hair (no extra charge). Dr. Gloria Brown has been in small animal practice for 24 years. We are always ready and willing to give your family member the best medical care possible, tailored to fit you and your pet's lifestyle.

We treat our patients with the respect and kindness they deserve. We offer ready referrals to Texas A&M University's Veterinary College and Austin veterinary specialists such as Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Austin Animal Eye Clinic, Austin Allergy and Dermatology Center of Central Texas, Animal Dental Clinic, etc. and thereby maintain close working relationships with board certified veterinarians in College Station, Austin and Round Rock. We work closely with the Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin-South Branch located on Frontier Trail to assure that our patients are cared for using cutting edge technology and expertise when they have an emergency after hours.

Lockhart Animal Clinic offers a 15% discount to police officers and firefighters. Our Senior citizen discount is also 15%.

Mondays and Wednesdays we offer a 10% discount on spays and neuters.
