September 29 – December 15, Wednesday Evenings (7:15-8:15 PM). A 12-Week BibleStudy of the Book of Romans. The class is led by Bill Stone (tel.: 963-8642; lpcbear@gmail.com)and meets in the Library ofChurch Office Building.Drop-in’s are welcome.
November 18, Thursday, 7 PM. Administrative Council meeting in Fellowship Hall. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate.
November 19, Friday, 7 PM. Austin Classical Guitar Society’s Free Public Outreach Concert- Performance by Austin Moorhead (www.austinmoorhead.com)in the Sanctuary. An informal reception willfollow 45-minute concert in Fellowship Hall where you can meet the artist. All are welcome. Children, especially budding young musicians,are encouraged to attend.
November 28, Sunday,11 AM.First Sunday of Advent – ‘Hanging of the Greens’ Service in the Sanctuary.
December 2, Thursday, 7 PM. Annual Church Conference in Fellowship Hall. This is charge conference, which means that all members of Grace will have voice and vote.
December 4, Saturday, 9 AM. Work Day. Help us clean up, and also move some of the larger items out for bulk trash pick-up.
December 5, Sunday,11 AM.2ndSunday of Advent – Service of Shepherds and Holy Communion in the Sanctuary.
December 12, Sunday,11 AM.3rdSunday of Advent – Children’s Pageant in Worship “Shepherd, Sheep and a Savior” in the Sanctuary.
December 19, Sunday, 11 AM. 4th Sunday of Advent – Christmas Cantata. The Grace Notes Choir and Berkeley United Methodist Choir will join voices for the Christmas Cantata this year, ‘The Winter Rose’ by Joseph M. Martin.
December 19, Sunday, 1 PM. Children of Grace and all interested adults will go carolling to Grace’s homebound members and friends.
December 24, Friday,7 PM. Christmas Eve Service of Candlelight and Holy Communion in the Sanctuary.
December 26, Sunday, 11 AM. A Service of Lessons and Carols in the Sanctuary.
January 2, Sunday, 11 AM. Epiphany Sunday Worship Service followed by the Epiphany Party covered dish luncheon.
