Not bloody likely. Triumph has let their new Tiger 800 and Tiger 800 XC dual purpose motorcycles out of their cages, which is sure to set stodgy back a couple of decades. If you thought blasting across rough trails was fun on one or two cylinders, wait until you try it with three cylinders. That's right, the Tiger 800 and Tiger 800 XC are powered by an inline, 799cc, 94 horsepower, long-stroke three-cylinder engine. And if anyone knows anything about building three-cylinder engines, it's the folks at Triumph. Lone Star is accepting deposits right now on the new Tiger 800 models which should start arriving at the Lone Star loading dock in April, 2011. Pretty cool, eh?.
