Breathing Systems Inc. was founded in 1987 in Houston, Texas. In 2006, Breathing Systems Inc. was purchased by Eveready, of Canada and renamed Breathing Systems International (BSINTL). The companys initial focus was servicing the personal protective equipment needs of the petrochemical industries. This still remains the companys core business but its products can be used in areas where high levels of respirator protections are needed. This including toxic atmospheres or oxygen deficient and are IDLH (immediately dangerous to life and health).Our "'User Friendly" life support equipment is ideal for multiple uses: maintenance, inspection, welding, salvage and rescue operations. This equipment is commonly used for inspection of liquid nitrogen gas tanks.

Breathing Systems International produces personal protective devices used in environments considered to be IDLH (immediately dangerous to life and health). BSI meets this responsibility by designing, developing and manufacturing products that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements governing their application and use.
