What Is Denton County MHMR Center?
Denton County MHMR Center is a local unit of government and a Community MHMR Center that contracts with the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services as well as other agencies to provide services to individuals with behavioral health care needs. Denton County MHMR Center is designated the local mental health and mental retardation authority for Denton County, Texas. Denton County MHMR Center is administered by a Board of Trustees which is appointed by the Denton County Commissioners.
