Genesis Service • 6 p.m. • Fellowship Hall New Community. New You.
What is Genesis? A teaching service led by Rev. Philip Rhodes
with a casual and welcoming atmosphere.
Genesis features acoustic worship music and messages of timeless truths.

This Sunday: November 14:

We will honor veterans who have served in the armed forces at all worship services. Veterans, please go by the Welcome Center to pick up a lapel ribbon.

Will you help provide Thanksgiving dinner for local families?
We have received requests from 1,200 families this year. Please pick up a list from the Welcome Center and fill a bag with the requested items.
Return your sack full of groceries by Sunday, Nov. 14.
Curb side drop off is available on November 7 and 14 before all services of worship.
To donate to this cause, put “Thanksgiving Bags” in the memo line of your check and drop it in the offering plate.

November 21 4–5:30 p.m.
This year’s First ADVENTure will celebrate Las Posadas, a yearly tradition for many Mexicans and some other Latin Americans, which symbolizes the trials which Mary and Joseph endured before finding a place where Jesus could be born (based on Luke 2:1-9).
The children are pilgrims (peregrinos) who request lodging by going “house” to “house.” At each house, the resident refuses lodging, until the weary travelers reach the inn (which will be the Fellowship Hall), where Mary and Joseph are allowed to enter.
Once in the “inn,” we will have a celebration with crafts and refreshments. The children will create their own colorful piñatas, beautiful poinsettias, Nacimiento (nativity scene), and even bunuelos.
All families are welcome
