Recovery Resource Council is at risk for losing government funding.
Here's more information and how YOU CAN HELP:
Currently the Texas Department of State Health Services is at risk for budget cuts which is a large threat to the state's Outreach, Screening, Assessment and Referral (OSAR) program. If we were to lose our OSAR program, clients would be forced to go to treatment centers directly, spend longer periods of time on waiting lists and would not have access to our services to help them stay clean while they wait for a bed. Our clients can spend up to 4-6 weeks on our waiting list, but we reach out to them on a daily basis to keep them engaged and focused on their own sobriety. Losing OSAR funding would make people's already difficult struggle for sobriety even harder.
