A THERAPIST OWNED AND OPERATED OUT-PATIENT PHYSICALTHERAPY CLINIC DEDICATED TO PROVIDING INDIVIDUALIZED, EVIDENCE BASED, ONE-ON-ONE PATIENT FOCUSED CARE

We are an out-patient physical therapy clinic providing physical therapy management for non-operative musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative rehabilitation
I have over 26 years of experience as a physical therapist and have been certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 1990. In addition to seeing out-patients at our clinic I also see home health care patients in the Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, and HEB area as a contractor through Radiant Home Healthcare Agency.

Orthopedic Out-Patient Physical Therapy, evaluation and treatment for non-operative musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative rehabilitation.
What is Physical Therapy ?
Orthopaedic Physical Therapy practice emphasizes the prevention, identification, assessment, minimization, and correction of pain and disability due to acute or prolonged musculoskeletal impairment. This includes post-surgical as well as non-surgical conditions. The goal of treatment is to promote optimal health and function. A physical therapist may use a variety of interventions to diminish pain, impairments and disability associated with orthopaedic disorders.
Examples of some commonly used interventions include specific theraputic exercises tailored to individual patients, manual physical therapy (hands on therapy techniques such as stretching and mobilization), modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation as well as ergonomic advice and should always include patient education in proper body mechanics, home management strategies including exercises to maintain the benefits achieved during the treatments. Therapists who are board certified as Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association are optimally trained and educated to effectively deal with orthopaedic disorders.
Who will Benefit?
Patients who have acute and chronic low-back and neck pain, general arthritic complaints, hip and knee osteoarthritis, shoulder pain, and muscle strains and joint sprains will benefit from orthopaedic physical therapy intervention. In addition, post-surgical rehabilitation is critical for successful recovery from operations such as anterior cruciate reconstruction, total hip and knee replacement, shoulder decompression, rotator cuff repair, and a variety of spine surgical procedures to name a few.
Our mission is to deliver the highest quality evidence based physical therapy care to all of our patients. Critical factors in accomplishing this goal are:
-A combination of 26 years of clinical experience, specialty certification, and education at the highest professional degree possible.
-The freeedom as owner of this clinic to schedule patients and practice as I believe physical therapy should be practiced.
-Practicemodel basedonaprofessional practice owned by the professionals providing the service.

All Patient care is provided by Dr. Michael Flyzik DPT, OCS, no patient care isprovided by ancillary or office personnel.
We feel our practice model, along with our experience and credentials produces the highest quality of patient care, the best outcomes, service, and value for all our patients and referring providers.
