Cardel Homes began breaking new ground in 1979 with emphasis on commercial projects, home building and remodeling. In 1983, Cardel Homes focused its’ energy and talents on custom home building and the plan was simple — offer people the most competitive prices with absolute dedication to customer satisfaction and quality design and construction.
This approach has earned Cardel Homes the distinction of being one of West El Paso’s premier home builders, including being named “1993 Builder of the year” by the El Paso Association of Builders.
The company is proudly owned by Del and Lorraine Huit. While Del handles the design, construction, and financial responsibilities, Lorraine, a licensed interior designer, oversees new home decorating, design and company office management.
In 1995, Cardel Realty opened under the benchmark of Cardel homes. Broker Ellen Speights was joined by Betsy Braver, creating a successful marketing and deals team with annual sales in excess of $20 million.
