We knew the time was getting close for Kathy. Pat was so warm and loving talking with her about preplanning arrangements. Pat asked the tough... more questions very gently and told us she would help us do whatever we wanted.
We knew we wanted to something different from the norm and Pat worked with us to make it happen. She got out of our way, but kept us within practical limits. We wanted to combine the visitation, memorial service and reception into one event and hold it at the funeral home. We wanted displays of Kathys work, photo collages, and other mementos that reflected to full and wonderful life she had. Pat allowed us to do that, showing us where her supplies were and inviting us to use them as we needed; she allowed us to rearrange the furniture to suit us. When the evening was over, they sent us home and put the funeral home back together and carefully packed and delivered our things to us the next morning.
Pat and her crew helped the caterer set up, and were as gracious to him and his staff as they were to our family. Pat, Charlie, Cindy, and the guys helped us pay tribute to Kathy in our way. It was warm, loving, intimate, joyous and perfect in every way. We have had so many compliments on our service. We cannot imagine receiving the same level of individual attention from anywhere else.... hide

Most of us only have one chance to say good-bye to a loved one with a tribute that honors a life as well as recognizing the passing. Understandably, we want to “get it right”. It is a safe place and an extraordinary time when family and friends come together, mourn their loss and begin to heal.
With a growing trend toward customizing services to fit the unique personality of the deceased, families look to Dannel Funeral Home for more than direction. They realize that loving arrangements offer family and friends the best experience during a profoundly sad time. They appreciate the Dannel’s creativity and thoughtful advice about how to capture and convey the joyful moments families share, even at the time of death.

This is why I’m in the funeral business, because of a deep sense of duty and honor to a great profession and a strong family tradition.”
