If you have checked on our website before you have noticed that the pastoral letter is unchanged---til now. We are hopeful to begin to reach out in a new area to make our web site not only current but also to vest it with new updates and information on at least a weekly basis. The process is beginning today and we hope to have a "living ministry" through the medium of the web. This is a tool that is continuing to grow and is used daily by many people, especially younger people, though certainly not limited to any demographic group. Pray for some of the things to come to pass that we are hopeful of making available to the church exclusively and to the world in some areas of ministry. Pray for us as we seek to use this tool for God's Work and Glory!
Cook Springs Baptist Church is a rural church with an outward reach coming from an upward look. The Bible (KJV) is the rule book, road map, and authority for our existence and our plan from God. The commission of the church is still the same as Jesus charged us with in Matthew 28:19-20. We receive members as God sends and as traditional Baptist churches have for many decades. Come and be blessed as we strive to serve the one and only God who sent His one and only Son to die as the sin payment for those who would repent and believe and confess Him as Saviour and be sealed by His Holy Spirit. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
