After 15 great years of training both halter and performance horses, as a family we have decided to refocus on breeding and discontinue taking outside horses for training. Both Kim (Potts) Morgan and Kathleen Stevens have opened their own training businesses in North Texas and we wish them the best of success.

Our new goal is to continue producing National winning Purebred and Half-Arabian English Pleasure horses. We will produce two to three foals a year. These young horses will start their initial training on site with our trainer, Juan Bonilla, then continue their advanced training and showing with Stachowski Farms. We invite visitors to our farm to see our young stock, both in the field and the prospects in the barn. We are proud of the National Winning horses that began their lives in the fields at Venture Farms. If you are searching for that next young star, you need to see our horses. We currently have 24 youngsters from one to four years old that are available.

Owners Roger and Susan Johnson will be managing the daily operations at the farm, while owners Lou and Joan Abbett enjoy a slower pace at their homes in Indiana and Florida. Joan will continue to be very active in the large scale decisions at Venture and will be at the major horse shows.

We are very fortunate to have Juan Bonilla as our trainer. Juan is a native of El Salvador and a US Citizen who has lived in this country for over 25 years. Juan has been with us for 12 year years, and has been starting colts most of that time. Juan has a quiet approach to horsemanship and you can be assured if Juan started a horse it was done right.
