Bearing Fruit is designed to enrich our understanding of the biblical and spiritual principles of financial stewardship and generous giving. Rather than focusing on the need of the church to receive, we will concentrate on the need of the giver to give for his or her own spiritual health and growth. I believe that financial stewardship is fundamentally a spiritual issue. It begins with our conviction that we can trust God to provide for our needs. In response to Gods trustworthiness, with gratitude and a deep assurance of Gods love and care, you and I are called to cheerfully return a portion of what God has entrusted to us. Through your gifts, Holy Covenant will continue to bear the fruit of hope, love, joy, and peace in the world, and the same spiritual fruit will be born within you - the giver.

Youth Choir is taking orders for holiday pies Sunday in the covenant center Oct 31, Nov 7 and Nov 14.
Be sure to order your favorite pies!

Pies will be available for pick up in the covenant center on November 21.

Would you like to make a difference in people's lives?
Are you looking for meaning in your own life?
We are in need of people to teach ESL at Holy Covenant. The openings are on Wednesday nights from 6 to 8pm. You do not need to know how to speak another language or be an English major. All that is needed are a couple of hours a week and a desire to help other people improve their lives.

Introduce a new culture to your family, school and community!
Hosting a foreign exchange student can be a heart-warming and eye-opening experience.

We would greatly appreciate it.

Pastors will always be on the front lines of caring for members of this congregation, especially in times of crisis. But - there are always many more needs for ongoing, one-to-one care than pastors can effectively meet by themselves.

Stephen Ministry provides a biblical solution...equipping God's people for ministry. Have you become a "go to" person for your family members and friends where they know they will find a sympathetic, listening ear? Gifted lay people (like you??) are trained to support and extend the care that our pastors provide.

IT PAYS TO PRAY consists of a monthly prize for the winner of a quiz based on the scriptures, poems, and prayers found in the PRAYER CORNER each month.
