Children’s Chapel is led by rotating leaders and we invite parents or others to assist. Children from ages 4 through 8 are welcome to take part in Children’s Chapel. We will resume Children's Chapel at the 9am service in October, beginning October 10th. Please see Susan Alexander or Fr. Andrew if you have questions.

Games—Prizes—Candy—Face Painting— Cake Walk— Hayride & More!
Saint Anne’s annual “Trunk or Treat” event is just around the corner! This is not only a safe alternative to door-to-door “trick or treating” for our children, but also an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to people in our surrounding neighborhood who might stop by.
Contact the church office for any questions and here’s some ways you can help:
• Bring your decorated "trunk" of candy to pass out to kids
• Sponsor a game or activity
• Donate wrapped candy for others to pass out. Drop off at the community chest in P.Hall
• Donate food for or help with the barbecue
• Donate individual sized baked goods for the cake walk
• Dress up in a kid friendly costume and help entertain
• Bring your family and join the fun

Volunteer Date: November 6th, 2010 - Volunteer Time: 9am -12pm. All you need to bring is yourself and a smile; please wear comfortable clothing. Close-toed shoes are recommended for safety. Children between the ages of 10 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult; provide at least one chaperone for every 5 to 7 children. We are located at: 4500 S. Cockrell Hill Road Dallas, TX 75236.

We, the congregation of St Anne Episcopal Church, embracing unity not uniformity, respond to God’s call to be Christ’s presence in the world. Through our common life we dedicate ourselves to worship God, serve others, study the faith and proclaim the Gospel.

We invite all people to attend our services. One doesn’t need to be an Episcopalian or even familiar with the Episcopal Church to visit. Let us share with you the sacred story of Jesus Christ and the hospitality of our community.

Our prayer is that on this occasion of receiving Communion in the Episcopal Church, all visitors may find their lives strengthened in God’s grace and encouraged to love God and serve both neighbors and strangers in the name of Christ.

Holy Baptism is administered in the context of the Sunday Eucharist. Candidates for baptism are infants & young children of members of the parish and older children and adults who desire to make a mature and public commitment to the Christian faith. Typically, Baptism is administered at the Great Vigil of Easter, Pentecost, All Saints' Sunday, and the Sunday after the Epiphany. Classes for parents and available godparents of infants and children precede each baptism date. Please contact Fr. Andrew if you have any questions. Baptismal forms can be found in the Church Narthex, Parish Hall or Office Foyer “Baptismal Forms” mailbox located in the Ministry Building.

Any prayer request may be emailed to DOK@saintannedesoto.org

In 1991, the congregation voted to use the name “Saint Anne” because of the significant connection she had with two children. She was the earthly grandmother of Jesus and she was the mother of Mary. Anne played a critical part in Mary becoming the mother of our Lord. Anne must have taught Mary to pray, to listen for the voice of God and to risk a “yes” when God called her. We are obliged to be like Saint Anne for the children in our community of faith. Part of our baptismal promise is that we will do all in our power to support the children of our parish to grow into the full stature of Christ.
