Who we are:
We are Christians who are striving to worship and serve God according to His will as revealed in the New Testament .
We come from a diversity of backgrounds, races, and locations, but are bound together by our desire to do God’s will in all things.
Our desire is to submit completely to Christ as Lord, to do all that He has commanded, and to not go beyond what He has authorized in His word. We believe that all true Christians will have this desire and goal.
We believe that we have no right to "speak where He has not spoken." Hence, we seek to answer religious questions by citing divine will, as revealed in the Scriptures.
What to expect when you come to worship with us:
The Lord's Supper. The memorial feast of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine, observed each Lord's day in commemoration of Christ's death & sacrifice for our sins (Acts 2:42, 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Congregational Singing, without instrumental music, to praise God and to encourage and teach one another (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
Bible Preaching presenting simple and understandable studies from God's word to exhort, rebuke, and build faith (Acts 2:42, 20:7; 2 Timothy 4:2).
Prayers offered in the name of Jesus, expressing thankfulness to God and making requests for various needs (Acts 2:42; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
A Freewill Offering - The Lord has taught us to be generous, but only the members of the congregation are expected to give into the local church treasury on each Lord's day to carry out the scriptural work of the church ( 2 Corinthians 9:6-7). If you are a visitor, you will not be solicited.
To God be the Glory in all things
Our worship is simple, but reverent and edifying, a sincere offering of praise to God, in harmony with His will ("in spirit and truth" - John 4:24).
We do hope that you will worship with us soon, and that you will find our services to be Scriptural and edifying.
