Welcome to the web site of the Next-To-New Shop of St. David's Episcopal Church, a resale shop and outreach ministry sponsored by St. David’s parish and operated since 1959 by volunteers from the central Texas community. Next-To-New is a tax-exempt Corporation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and operates exclusively for religious, charitable and educational purposes.

Next-To-New offers attractive, gently-used items at its retail store located in Austin, at 5435 Burnet Road. Merchandise includes antiques, appliances, art, Bibles, CDs, china, clocks, collectibles, cookbooks, dishes, furniture, glassware, holiday items, house wares, jewelry, lamps, office supplies, radios, rugs, silver, stereos (complete systems), TVs, women’s clothing and more. Prices are reduced every 30 days for most items and every 15 days for clothing. You are invited to delight in scouring the ever-changing selection of attractive and useful gifts, decorative, and household items early and often. The store is renowned for the quality of its merchandise!
CONSIGNMENTS AND DONATIONS
Next-To-New’s success is made possible through the generous donation of merchandise from supportive patrons and through the consignment of merchandise. Consignors receive 50% of the selling price of each item and Next-To-New retains the remaining 50%.

In addition to the retail store, a devoted team of experienced estate specialists conduct estate sales for families and individuals who find themselves downsizing or relocating.
DISTRIBUTION OF PROCEEDS
From 1989 to 2003, more than $1.3 million of Next-To-New’s proceeds were donated to LOCAL charities. Proceeds also support the restoration of St. David’s historic sanctuary in Downtown Austin at Trinity and 7th. Street. The sanctuary has been in constant service since 1854.

Note: Images shown on this web site are representative of the type of items you find at The Next-To-New Shop of St. David’s Episcopal Church and at Estate Sales handled by Next-To-New. Given that the Shop’s inventory changes daily, the images on the web site are not always actual “for sale” items.
