Our emphasis is on the individual needs of our clients, which distinguishes our center from other fitness facilities. The Pilates Center of Corpus Christi encourages you to enhance mind-body awareness and achieve greater balance within your body.
Evolved from techniques created by Joseph Pilates, this unique method of training develops strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and posture. The Pilates approach to conditioning incorporates the mind as well as the body, integrating upper and lower extremity musculature with the bodies core.

Pilates is gentle to the body yet challenging. The workout is revitalizing, yet relaxing; no muscle group is overworked or overtrained. The focus is on mind-body awareness, balance and core strength. Pilates ideally complements other activites that carry over into your daily life.
Pilates helps center attention and sharpen concentration, allowing the body to heal, energize and renew. Pilates leads to improved health through stretching, toning and mobilizing the spine and joints.
Develops longer, leaner muscles while improving joint flexibility.
Improves posture, allowing movement with balance and grace.
Stimulates the immune, digestive, circulatory and endocrine system.
Includes 4 small group orientation sessions for guiding principals and postures, as well as use of the Pilates Reformer. (Maximum 4 people to a session with a certified Pilates instructor.)
