The Sherwood Academy was established in 2001 to provide the children of Magnolia and surrounding areas with a wealth of adventure for learning.
We believe that early childhood is a time of creative growth and exploration. Here at The Sherwood Academy we strive to provide a warm and secure environment to encourage all aspects of a childs development: physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional.
Each child will be stimulated, guided and encouraged in carefully planned, age appropriate activities. For each child enrolled we offer Language Arts, Math, Science, Computer Lab, Library Time, Music & Movement, Spanish and Outdoor Exploration.
Over the past years we have grown from our original 13 students to accommodate an enrollment of 80. We are very excited to be expanding our school and adding fourth grade for the 2009-2010 school year.
