Decatur Church of Christ exists to proclaim God's Word to the world, to lift up our hearts in worship to God, and to extend caring hands of ministry to the needy.
The Decatur Church has over a century of traditionof teaching God's pure word to the town of Decatur. Decatur enthusiastically proclaims a message of the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the authority of God's Word as binding in all matter of faith and religious practice. We are proud of our heritage of being a church intent on restoring to our generation the church of Jesus Christ of which one reads in the pages of the New Testament.
Our desire at Decatur Church of Christ has three dimensions:

1) To nurture our members and families as they grow toward maturity in Christ, all the while maintaining the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace,

2) To preach the good news in our own communities and throughout the world and,

3) To minister to the physical needs of our members and the needy in our community.
