Based on many decades of experience, a series of pipeline systems has been designed to meet the demanding requirements the pipeline business recognizes. Durable and corrosion resistant
Ameron Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipe is inert to internal corrosion from chemicals, crude oil, residues, injection water and bacteria. Similarly it resists exterior corrosion even in aggressive environments. Cathodic protection is not required.
Lightweight - easy to install
Ameron Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipeline systems are easy to install without the need of heavy equipment.
The installation cost of Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipeline systems are typically 80% of the costs of carbon steel.
The resistance to corrosion and to UV light reduce the maintenance costs for both above-ground and buried pipelines.
The smooth internal surface reduces the head loss resulting in lower pump energy consumption.
