Since 1981, High Meadows Academy has been committed to providing our students with high-quality and affordable early childhood education and extended care. We offer a sequenced educational program devoted to physical, linguistic, social, and emotional development.
We select our teachers based on their professional training and abilities as well as their genuine concern for creating a loving, nurturing, and caring environment that helps children become life-long learners and prepares them for Kindergarten and beyond.

We are locally-owned and well-known among Denton County families. We are a member of the National Association of Education for Young Children and are a Friends of Core Knowledge school. High Meadows Academy is the only school in Denton County to offer the Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence.
Our teachers, with over thirty years of combined experience, provide our students a solid base for life-long learning as they teach weekly topics that reach across the curriculum and include language development, math, reading readiness, music, Spanish, and art.
High Meadows Academy offers educational preschool for children ages two to five. We work with our parents schedules, allowing our students to attend from two to five days each week. Preschool curriculum is taught from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Students in the Preschool program receive a morning snack and a hot lunch.
Absolutely! All High Meadows Academy students may enroll in our extended day program and reap the benefits of excellent care from 7:00 AM until 8:30 AM and then from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. They will participate in an afternoon filled with outside play, arts and crafts, and quiet time.
High Meadows Academy has an excellent before and after school program for Kindergarten through fifth graders. We provide transportation to and from school as well as an opportunity for outdoor play, arts and crafts, and a study area. For these students, we offer full day care during Lewisville ISD in-service days.
