Fallfest: Time for Family Fun!Fallfest the annual autumn family extravaganza sponsored by TSTC thats open to the public will be held in the TSTC Athletic Field (the corner of Rio Hondo Road and 29th Street) from 6 PM to 9 PM November 3! Student Essay Contest Entries WelcomeThe English Department is facilitating submissions for the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development essay contest. The contest information may be viewed online at http://www.nisod.org/student_essay/index.html. Prizes include a $1,000 scholarship for the student; $1,000 to the administrator, faculty or student about which the student writes, and $1,000 for the college. English Department Offers New CourseA new class - English 2307, Creative Writing for Fiction and Poetry - will become part of the English curriculum for the spring 2011 semester. The class will be available for elective credit and will not count toward Academic Core electives. This is the first time the course has been offered at TSTC; posters are on display around campus.
