Warning - Heart Attack !!!
Attention All Patients: Prevention is so much better than cure and while life is not time, the converse is true. The leading cause of death in women is heart disease. The warning signs include pain or uncomfortable pressure any where in the chest that lasts more than a few seconds; pain that spreads to the shoulder, neck, arm or arms, stomach or back; chest discomfort with a feeling of doom or near death, chest discomfort accompanied with sweating, nausea, lightheadedness, vomiting or shortness of breath. Women may have additional symptoms including fatigue and pain in lower part of the chest. If you or your loved ones have any of the listed warning signs, CALL 911 immediately. Time is critical and it can save lives. Do not try to drive yourself. If you are not allergic to aspirin, take one. Make sure you or your loved one tell the ambulance driver about your chest pain.
