At Alice Family Eye Center, our commitment is to you - to provide the highest level of service in a friendly, professional atmosphere and to provide you the very best in eye wear. Since 1997, Dr. Garza and his friendly staff have served Alice and the surrounding areas.

Have a problem with your eyes? For information on common eye problems like styes, pink eye, floaters, etc., click on "Eye Care Articles" to find answers to common questions.
Have vision insurance? If so, please inform our staff of both your vision plan and your health plan. A vision plan typically cover a basic or wellness eye exam and a prescription for eyeglasses. Health plans typically cover medical problems of the eyes, such as red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, etc. To ensure we offer you the highest quality of service, we request both vision and health plan info so we can verify before your visit. This allows us to reduce your waiting time at the office and help ensure your visit will be a smooth and pleasant experience. It is your job to present this information prior to your exam! It is our job to verify your benefits and then submit a claim on your behalf.
To order eyeglasses or contact lenses, bring your prescription to our office and one of our friendly office staff members will assist you.
Technology and advances in eyecare change rapidly! At Alice Family Eye Center, we strive to bring new technologies that enhance the service we provide to our patients. Ask us about our new High Definition Retinal Imager, visual field tester or our GDXvcc nerve analyzer all used to aid earlier detection of eye disease. We also offer an in-house lens fabrication system that allows us to make most eyeglasses in our own office (not available for certain insurance plans that utilize their own labs) and provide a fast turnaround on your order.
