European Day Spa of Fredericksburg: Your Therapeutic Getaway

In 1996 Carissa authored, coordinated, and managed the first day spa in Fredericksburg. Just a few months after it's spa program was launched, the spa was featured as one of the top day spas in the country by SELF magazine. In 1998, Carissa opened her own businesses. Spa to Go and European Day Spa of Fredericksburg. The pioneer of spa services in Fredericksburg, Carissa started the movement of spa services in the Bed and Breakfasts. Today several have on site mini spas. She also was the first to introduce the products and philosophy of Source Vital. Many Fredericksburg therapists and nail technicians have worked and trained at European Day Spa and have utilized Carissa's techniques and product knowledge and have taken them into the community.Since it's opening, European Day Spa has been featured several times in VOGUE including being listed in 'The Best of Texas' Nov.'02., featured in ELEGANT TEXAN - an exclusive magazine with only 'The Best of The Best', and featured in an article by SPAFINDER. Carissa has been quoted in SKIN,INC and DERMASCOPE. She is also named in the 2003-2004 edition of WHO'S WHO IN BUSINESS EXECUTIVES, was nominated for WOMAN OF THE YEAR,2004, and for GREAT WOMEN OF THE 21st Century by the American Biographical Institute. Recently also nominated for 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of The 21st Century by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge England and nominated for their Lifetime Achievement Award.

After a brief reprieve, the latest journey for European Day Spa has been moving it's location to THE TROIS ESTATE AT ENCHANTED ROCK. The unique old world village with the healing energies of Enchanted Rock and beautiful, serene natural backdrops provides the perfect setting for your escape.
With our new setting, we've made some changes with more of a spalophosy. Once the largest staffed spa in town, we've realized bigger is not always better. In order to ensure we always provide reliable, top quality service we have scaled down our staff. We provide an intimate setting with attention focused on just you and your party. To keep the integrity of our atmosphere, we are only offering natural services. Later, we may incorporate a salon again, but at the moment we are not offering hair and nail services. We strive to make your experience like no other. At our spa your hands and feet get our spaology therapeutic rituals. A true spa experience. We promise you'll be feeling so good and your skin will be so soft, that your nails won't miss a thing.
Please be sure to book ahead of time to ensure we can accomodate you and your party. Groups can sometimes be accomodated with advanced notice. Contract stylists can be arranged for wedding parties. Spa cuisine lunch is available at Troisi's with advanced reservation.
