Base Line Data, Inc. (BLD) was established in 1985 as an On-Stream Corrosion Survey Company. Since that time, BLD has grown to meet the needs of our clients by utilizing state of the art equipment and highly qualified personnel. BLD now services the entire continental United States and most of the world. It has over 130 full-time employees in three regional offices.
A full-time staff of five graduate engineers provide technical support. Its employees are trained and tested by a full-time ASNT tested Level III. In addition, it has opened a 23,000 sq. ft. office that is used as its corporate headquarters, and a vocational college for inspection disciplines.
Base Line Data, Inc. is the first "commercial" AWS Accredited Welder Testing Facility in the state of Texas. It offers over fifty different services to its clients. Its Vendor Quality Assurance business unit provides third-party inspection throughout the world. It currently prepares qualified inspectors for API-570, API-510, API-653, and AWS/CWI testing. Base Line Data, Inc. maintains a database of additional inspectors for peak labor needs.

Women of Honor
I write this article once a month about a man or woman as my way of honoring them. In my life, I have always been able to find someone I can admire for their courage, honesty, work ethics or contribution to making this world a better place. Writing this article is one of the things I really enjoy doing. In most cases the person I write about is still alive and may not even realize how they have impacted my life.
