Since 1997, South Texas Cardiothoracic has consistently grown and broadened its capabilities by attracting the premier cardiothoracic surgeons in this area. South Texas Cardiothoracic surgeons operate at eleven different hospitals in San Antonio, using leading edge techniques. We recently formed the Institute for Beating Heart Surgery to promote the use of off-pump coronary artery bypass operations for all appropriate heart surgery patients. We are now, and intend to remain, the preferred heart and lung surgical group in South Texas.
